Inwork AI is an artificial intelligence feature that can support reflection, habits, journaling, meditation, breathwork, mood check-ins, memory, and self-knowledge.
Inwork AI is not a human, therapist, doctor, emergency service, or licensed professional. It is a general wellness and mental fitness tool.
2. What it can and cannot do
It can generate reflective coaching responses and suggest app actions that you can confirm.
It can use only the data categories you allow in Inwork AI settings.
It cannot diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any medical or mental health condition.
It cannot provide emergency support, crisis intervention, or professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
3. Data used by Inwork AI
When you send a message, your message, recent conversation context, memory used to personalize future chats, and any app context you allow may be sent to OpenAI to generate a response.
Onboarding highlights optional Habits, Journal, Mood, and Self-knowledge context with recommended defaults on. Profile, meditation, breathwork, and memory are enabled by default and can be reviewed in Inwork AI settings after onboarding.
Memory lets Inwork AI save details across chats. You can review, edit, delete, erase, or disable memory in Inwork AI settings.
If a data area is disabled, we do not intentionally include that area in prompts sent to Inwork AI. Internal account identifiers may still be used for authentication, rate limiting, security, and service operation.

Memory embeddings: text-embedding-3-small
Requests use `store: false` where supported to avoid OpenAI-side application-state storage.
OpenAI API data is not used to train OpenAI models by default unless we opt in.
OpenAI default abuse monitoring may retain content for up to 30 days unless different retention terms apply.
5. Storage and retention
Inwork AI chat history is saved in your account so you can return to conversations unless you clear it.
Separate audit logs store metadata such as timestamps, message length, response length, action types, and preferences, not message text or AI response text.
Inwork AI memories are stored when Memory is enabled and can be reviewed, edited, deleted, erased, or disabled.
Deleting your account deletes Inwork AI data according to our deletion process and applicable law.
6. Your controls
Change Inwork AI data toggles anytime in settings.
Clear Inwork AI conversation history.
Review, edit, delete, erase, or disable Inwork AI memories.
Withdraw Inwork AI consent. New Inwork AI requests are blocked until you accept again.
7. Safety
If you may harm yourself or someone else, or if you are facing an emergency, contact local emergency services or a crisis line immediately. Inwork AI is not an emergency service.
8. Changes
We may update AI models over time. If we materially change the AI provider, data categories, purposes, retention practices, or how your data is used, we will provide notice and request consent where required.
