Inwork community features are for adults aged 18 and older only. Anyone found to be under 18 will have their account and posts removed.
The Social is a supportive community for personal growth. These guidelines help keep it safe and welcoming for everyone.
1. Be Respectful and Supportive
- Treat every member with kindness and dignity
- Disagree respectfully — attack ideas, not people
- Respect that everyone is on their own journey at their own pace
- Use inclusive language and be mindful of different backgrounds and experiences
2. Protect Privacy
- Do not share other members' personal information outside the community
- Do not screenshot or redistribute private conversations
- Respect that what is shared in the community stays in the community
- Do not share other people's real names, locations, or identifying details without consent
3. No Professional Advice
- Do not provide medical, psychiatric, psychological, legal, or financial advice
- Do not diagnose or suggest diagnoses for other members
- Share your own experiences, not prescriptions for others
- If someone appears to be in crisis, encourage them to seek professional help
4. Zero Tolerance
The following will result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban:
- Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or threats of any kind
- Hate speech, discrimination, or content targeting protected characteristics
- Content that encourages, glorifies, or instructs self-harm or suicide
- Sharing sexually explicit or violent content
- Stalking, doxxing, or unwanted persistent contact
- Impersonating other members, professionals, or Inwork itself — including our team, our support, and our brand
- Sharing illegal content or facilitating illegal activity
- Spam, scams, phishing, or commercial solicitation
5. Content Standards
- Keep posts relevant to personal development, wellness, and growth
- Use content warnings when discussing potentially triggering topics
- Do not post misleading, false, or manipulative content
- Credit others when sharing their ideas or work
- Keep conversations constructive and on-topic
6. Reporting and Moderation
- Use the in-app report feature to flag content that violates these guidelines
- Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, typically within 48 hours
- Reporter identity is always kept confidential
- Do not take moderation into your own hands — report and let the team handle it
- False or malicious reporting is itself a violation of these guidelines
7. Consequences
Violations are addressed based on severity:
- Warning: First-time minor violations receive a private warning
- Content removal: Violating content is removed from the community
- Temporary suspension: Repeated violations result in temporary account restriction
- Permanent ban: Severe or repeated violations result in permanent account termination
Zero-tolerance violations (Section 4) skip the warning stage and result in immediate suspension or ban. All moderation decisions are at the sole discretion of Inwork.
8. Crisis Resources
If you or someone in the community appears to be in crisis:
- * Emergency Services: 911 (US) / 112 (EU) / 999 (UK)
- * 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: Call or text 988 (US)
- * Crisis Text Line: Text HOME to 741741 (US)
